conditions for the construction of a modern and barrier free access
set a big challenge for anybody involved in it.
The Bürgerstiftung Kehl and the Nussbaum Technologies from Kehl-
Sundheim took up the challenge and eventually donated big happiness
to Kaltrina and her family. Together with other companies, the
conception and installation of an individual platform lift for persons
with reduced mobility become reality.
Besides the technical challenge, the system is also worth for another,
very important reason: it gave back to the young girl Kaltrina
a bit of freedom and self-determination. Thanks to the tailor-made
platform lift, the 23 years old girl can now reach the upper floor of
her house with her wheelchair without any help.
Together for each oter. This is not only the basic principle of the
Bürgerstiftung Kehl. This is our lifestile. Here are some pictures of the project:
